Who we are

What data we collect

When you place an order, we collect:

Your email address — to send your order confirmation and updates
Your order details — artist/album name, playlist name, Spotify link, personal message (if added), and any theme/song preferences for custom playlists
Your delivery address — only if you select delivery (not required for collection)
Your Instagram handle — optional, used only to send you photos of your completed order

We do not collect any payment card information. All payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe (see below).

How we use your data

We use your data solely to fulfil your order. Specifically:

To craft your personalised CDMini as specified
To send you a confirmation email and order updates
To arrange delivery or collection of your order
To contact you via Instagram or email with photos of your completed order

We do not use your data for marketing purposes, and we will never sell or share your data with third parties outside of what is necessary to process your order.

Stripe — payments

CDMinis never sees or stores your card details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. When you proceed to checkout, you are redirected to a Stripe-hosted payment page. Stripe handles all card data securely and sends you a receipt directly. Your order details are stored in Stripe's systems as order metadata, viewable only by CDMinis.

EmailJS — confirmation emails

We use EmailJS to send order confirmation emails. After a successful payment, your order details and email address are passed to EmailJS to trigger the confirmation email. EmailJS processes this data solely to deliver the email. Their privacy policy is at emailjs.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Cookies and local storage

This website uses browser local storage (not tracking cookies) to:

Remember your cart items while you browse
Pass your order details to the confirmation email after payment
Remember your cookie notice preference

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. No data is shared with advertisers.

How long we keep your data

Order details stored in Stripe are retained in accordance with Stripe's data retention policies and our legal obligations. We do not store personal data on our own servers beyond what is necessary to complete your order.

Your rights
